How do you make your animations and art?
I use a Wacom Cintiq to draw directly onto the computer. The animation software I use is Adobe Flash. I also use Photoshop for drawing, painting and editing images.

Where did you learn to animate?
I picked up on the techniques through watching and examining the very cartoons that inspired me as a child. I used to draw flip books, then I moved onto drawing onto the computer with the mouse, drawing each frame and then compiling them into an animated sequence with movie editing software. Even though the work I produced was primitive, it did give me an understanding of how animated images move. THEN I got Adobe Flash and I was able to experiment more on how to animate characters and try out different things. I graduated from the University of South Wales in 2014 with a BA in Animation with first class Honours.

How long would it take you to animate a ten second scene?
It depends on a few things such as, the complexity of the scene, as in how many characters are involved, whether it requires lip synching and the actions the characters are performing. So this could take anything from ten minutes to a day. I have a reputation as a 'fast worker' which I put down to the fact that I really enjoy what I do. Here's an example of a piece of work that took me around half hour to complete.

What Inspires you?
I take influence from a lot artists and animators, many of them are my friends.
Most of my insperation comes from my childhood favourite cartoons, like Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, The Simpsons, Ren & Stimpy, 90's Cartoon Network and many others.
